Senior Buyer – Civil Rail

You will work on NEC ContractsDuties:Identifying the operational unit demand and supply chain capacity.Buyer materials for sub-lines, bridges, lifts, platforms for Rail Stations.Working on all aspects of the buyer cycleProcurement of sub-contractors and materials covering, Pre-construction, work winning, supply chain, production of sub- contracts for Rail projects.Manage the Supply chain including performance and relationship management.Working with the stake holders.Experience Required:Knowledge of the process and procedures from pre and construction stage.Good experience with stakeholders.Working on NEC ContractsWorking with sub-contractors on Rail projects.Salary: 40,000- 60,000 plus allowance and package, some flexible home working.The client is open to speaking to Quantity Surveyors, who have a civils background in rail on NEC contracts, who are potentially looking to move to a buyer’s role.If you are interested and want to hear more, please apply so we can discuss the role in more detail.
