Digicon Operator

Digicon Operator - Packaging & Labels Location: Leicester Company: A leading packaging and labels company. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled digicon operator to work for a company with many years in house experience, offering high quality packaging and labels solutions, and a company who heavily invests in the latest equipment. Role: As a digicon operator you will be operating of finishing equipment producing finished labels in compliance with company operating procedures. Ensure machinery runs at a maximum output, bearing in mind quality, machinery limitations and health and safety. * Set up and operate Digicon machine * Operation of print finishing machinery with accuracy and efficiency * Monitor quality and consistency of products * Ink mixing as and when required * Adjust machine settings for correct registration, tension, and cutting accuracy * Monitor production to ensure quality and consistency * Inspect finished labels for defects such as misalignment, poor cuts, or coating issues * Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning * Troubleshoot finishing problems during production runs * Maintain production documentation and job records * Follow health & safety procedures within the production environment Requirements: * Experience within the labels/ print/ packaging industry * Ideally experienced working on ABG Digicon previously * Knowledge of die-cutting, laminating, foiling, varnishing, and slitting processes * Ability to read job specifications and production sheets * Strong attention to detail and quality control * Ability to work well under tight deadlines for projects of various size and scope * Positive "can do" customer focus and attitude Apply: Please email your full CV details to us.
