Senior Project Electrical Engineer

Principal Electrical Engineer – Data Centres Location: Birmingham, London, Newcastle, Oxford, Bristol, Edinburgh, Manchester, Glasgow or Fully Remote Salary: £65,000–£90,000 + benefits depending on experience If you enjoy technically challenging projects and want to work within a business where Data Centres are a genuine core focus rather than a small part of the workload, this could be a great fit. We’re partnered with a growing consultancy delivering mission-critical projects across the UK and Europe, and they’re looking to strengthen their Electrical team with experienced Principal level engineers. What you’ll be doing You’ll lead the electrical design delivery across mission-critical and Data Centre projects, taking responsibility for project coordination, technical reviews, and client communication. You’ll also support junior engineers within the team and contribute towards project planning, technical standards, and overall delivery quality. Key requirements Strong background within electrical building services design Previous Data Centre or mission-critical design experience is essential Experience leading projects or major design packages Good understanding of UK and/or international design standards Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech and Dialux Comfortable working directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar Working towards Chartership or already Chartered preferredWhat’s on offer Salary up to £90,000 depending on experience Remote working available with offices throught the UK  Hybrid working for those local to the offices Bonus scheme Pension contribution Monthly healthcare allowance 25 days holiday + bank holidays 37.5 hour working week 9 day working fortnight available Annual pay and progression reviews Chartership support and training Exposure to major international Data Centre projectsIf you’d like to find out more, apply now and I’ll happily share more detail around the projects, culture, and long-term progression opportunities.
