Project Engineer

Discover your exciting roleResponsible for the flawless delivery of Engineering work scope, ensuring customer and legislative requirements are met in line with project timescales, cost, quality and safely executedExplore your tasks and responsibilitiesProject Planning & CoordinationDevelop project schedules and milestones  Coordinate with design engineers, contractors, and suppliers  Review project scope and ensure alignment with client requirements  Attend project meetings and provide technical inputReview and validate HVAC designs and drawings  Ensure compliance with codes, standards (e.g., Dw144), and specifications  Approve equipment selections and submittals  Resolve technical issues during design and construction phasesMonitor installation activities for quality and safety  Conduct site inspections and verify work against drawings  Coordinate commissioning and testing of HVAC systems  Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipmentMaintain project documentation (RFIs, change orders, progress reports)  Prepare handover documents and O&M manuals  Track project costs and support budget control  Report progress to stakeholders and escalate issues as needed Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and expectations  Provide technical presentations and updates  Manage client feedback and ensure satisfaction  Support post-installation troubleshooting and warranty issues Show your expertiseA minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering/Building ServicesExcellent knowledge in design and fabrication/assembly of packaged plant rooms – structural, piping, maintainability, transportation etcModular design and manufactureAwareness of industry standards and legislation including CE markingCustomer facing, with high degree of commercial awarenessUnderstanding of requirements management and configuration and change managementIdeally experienced in HVAC design and design of bespoke mechanical equipment in Nuclear applicationsContact:You want to be part of the Exentec Hargreaves team?
