Female Night Support Worker Join our new team in York – person-centred care that makes a real difference Are you passionate about supporting people to live life on their own terms? We are recruiting Female Support Worker due to a genuine occupational requirement of the persons we support therefore this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part Schedule 9. In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs as part of a consistent care team, with regular weekly shifts and rotas planned in advance. While the role is offered on a flexible zero-hours contract, the work is ongoing and typically provides a stable working pattern with the same client. 12-hour waking night shifts (21:00 - 9:00) ~ Delivering person-centred, one-to-one care ~ Supporting with all aspects of daily living and personal care ~ Providing specialist clinical support (full training provided) ~ Preparing meals and supporting household routines ~ Supporting the client to engage in outings hobbies and activities ~ Building a strong, trusting relationship through consistent care ~ Follow organisational policies, procedures, safeguarding requirements, and professional standards at all times.
Full UK manual drivers licence - to drive the clients vehicle Comfortable around animals Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and be willing to go the extra mile to support the people we care for. Show genuine compassion and a natural desire to support, encourage, empower, and uplift others. Earn up to £14.50 per hour (depending on experience) Flexible zero hour contract Enjoy regular consistent work with rolling rota while making a real difference in someone’s life. An additional 14.07% holiday pay on every hour worked. Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from your Care Manager Access to the Active Learning Hub – e-learning & in-person development Holiday pay, regular monthly rotas, and a Nest pension Refer a friend and earn up to £1,500
