Energy GroupHoulihan Lokey’s Oil & Gas (O&G) Group is a recognized leader in providing a wide range of investment banking advisory services to companies and investors operating in the Oil & Gas industry. This dedicated team of financial and technical professionals focuses primarily on large, complex transactions in the Oil & Gas industry, including across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors as well as in molecule-related alternative energies. The O&G Group is comprised of a global team with dedicated industry bankers in Houston, Dallas, New York, London, Dubai, and Hong Kong and regularly works on cross-border deals. Analysts are given substantial responsibility and are encouraged to help us grow our business.Analysts work on transactions that provide exposure to various investment banking services, including M&A, private placements of debt and equity, refinancings, and leveraged buyouts.ResponsibilitiesAs a Financial Analyst, you will:Prepare, analyze and help explain historical and projected financial informationCreate financial modelsCoordinate and perform business due diligencePrepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches and other presentationsConduct research on sectors, companies and potential buyersValue companies and businessesBuild relationships and maintain direct contact with clients and prospective clients and professional advisorsSupervise and train junior staff membersAssist in planning of engagementsThe environment at Houlihan Lokey is collegial and entrepreneurial and, as such, rewards staff with substantial responsibility and interaction with senior-level professionals and clients. Analysts are given substantial responsibility and are encouraged to help us grow our businessRequirements / QualificationsThe ideal candidate thinks strategically, is motivated, detail oriented, creative, outgoing, and possesses excellent quantitative skills.
