Key Responsibilities: Assisting with the preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns. Supporting senior tax staff with tax compliance and advisory tasks. Conducting research on tax legislation and staying up to date with changes in tax laws. Liaising with HMRC to resolve client queries and ensure compliance. Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines are met. Supporting the team with VAT returns and tax planning projects. Preparing correspondence with clients and assisting with general tax administration tasks. Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in a tax-focused role (preferably within an accountancy practice). ATT qualified or part-qualified (or willingness to work towards qualification with support). Good knowledge of personal and corporate tax regulations. Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Proficient in using tax software (e.g., IRIS, Digita, or similar) and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction. A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
