⏰ Working Pattern
This is a rotating shift role designed to offer structure and variety:
Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 06:00-15:00
Back Shift: Monday-Friday, 13:00-22:00
Overtime: Saturday mornings, 06:00-12:00
On‑Call Rota: 1 week in every 3 (paid additionally)
💷 Salary & Rewards
Base Salary: £43,108 per year
Typical OTE: circa £50,000
First‑Year Earning Potential: up to £54,000, including:
£5,000 sign‑on bonus (paid after a successful 3‑month settling‑in period)
Expected overtime of £5,000, paid at 1.5x hourly rate
Annual performance bonus of up to £2,000

🔧 The Role
You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of vehicles to the highest safety and operational standards. Your work will play a vital role in supporting daily operations, particularly during peak periods, ensuring vehicles are compliant, roadworthy, and ready when they're needed most.

✅ What We're Looking For
Essential
Qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or strong proven industry experience
Solid understanding of vehicle systems, trailers, plant, and workshop equipment
Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
A safety‑first mindset
A reliable team player with good communication and organisation skills
Desirable (Full Training Provided)
HGV Class C licence
ADR qualification
