The Opportunity
An innovative health technology company require a Head of Commercial Strategy & Delivery . This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the commercial success and operational delivery of new products and services.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will shape commercial strategy, define product positioning and pricing, oversee the successful launch of new offerings, and establish scalable delivery frameworks that support business growth. This role combines strategic commercial leadership with hands-on programme delivery, ensuring new initiatives move efficiently from concept through to market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the commercial strategy for new products and services, ensuring strong market positioning and commercial viability.
Shape product propositions and provide strategic guidance on pricing and go-to-market approaches in partnership with the Marketing Director.
Develop and deliver profitable growth plans, aligning delivery capacity with business objectives and working closely with the Senior Management Team.
Take ownership of the end-to-end testing, launch, and commercial delivery of new products and service offerings.
Establish and embed robust delivery frameworks to support new business initiatives and ensure consistent project execution.
Lead the coordination and successful delivery of pilot programmes and new service launches.
Build and develop a high-quality new business pipeline, supporting ambitious growth targets.
Oversee customer onboarding to ensure a seamless transition into new products and services.
Represent the business at key industry events, building relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.
About You
You are a commercially minded leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities. You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and have a proven ability to take new products from concept to successful market delivery.
Essential Experience
Significant commercial leadership experience within the health technology, healthcare, pharmacy, or e-commerce sectors.
Demonstrable success delivering complex projects and new product launches from concept through to implementation.
Experience developing and implementing structured project delivery frameworks.
Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C commercial models.
Essential Skills
Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across commercial, operational, technical, and executive audiences.
Proven ability to balance strategic planning with operational delivery.
Strong programme and project management capability.
Personal Attributes
Results-driven, proactive, and highly organised.
Comfortable operating within a high-growth, pilot-stage environment where priorities can evolve quickly.
