Resident Forklift Engineer - Bradford

Due to an increasing workload, we are recruiting for a resident forklift engineer – you will be working for a well-established, employee-focused forklift and material handling company.

Your responsibilities will include:
Performing servicing, maintenance and repair work on a broad range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment
Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues
Carrying out LOLER inspections to ensure all equipment remains fully compliant
Completing safety checks and pre-delivery inspections
Accurately filling out service reports and job sheets
Effectively organising and managing your workload and service schedule
Communicating with parts departments to ensure the correct components are sourced and installed
What you’ll need:
Experience as a Forklift engineer / Plant Fitter / Agricultural technician / HGV technician
Proven experience of servicing, maintaining & repairing diesel engines
Confident working with electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic equipment
Full UK driving licence
Your Package:
basic salary of £34,000–£36,000 + 15% shift allowance
OTE £39,100–£41,400 per annum including shift allowance
OTE based on 1 hours overtime a shift: £(phone number removed) - £46,125
Hours: 4 on 4 off (10 hour shift between 6am-6pm) 
Overtime paid at 1.5x
