ASSISTANT BAR MANAGER GAIA

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Bar Manager to join the team at GAIA in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury dining environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional beverage experiences while supporting the leadership and development of a high-performing bar team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Bar Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all bar outlets, ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality service at all times
Lead, motivate, and develop the bar team, maintaining exceptional service standards and ensuring all drinks are prepared and presented in line with GAIA standards
Drive beverage quality and innovation by supporting seasonal menu development and contributing to the creation of new cocktail offerings in line with GAIAs ethos and industry trends
Maintain effective stock control, minimising wastage through accurate inventory management, stock rotation, monitoring, and team training
Monitor bar performance, sales, and operational standards, preparing reports and supporting the achievement of financial targets and productivity goals
Work closely with the wider management team to ensure seamless communication across departments, deliver team training initiatives, and maintain a luxury guest experience throughout the venue
ABOUT YOU
Proven experience in an Assistant Bar Manager, Senior Bartender, Head Bartender, or similar leadership role within a premium or luxury hospitality environment
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and current beverage trends, with a passion for innovation and quality
Experience working within high-volume, fast-paced bar operations
Hands-on leader with excellent communication, organisational, and team development skills
Strong understanding of stock control, inventory management, and cost-focused beverage operations
Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest hospitality standards
Highly detail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure
Experience within luxury restaurant concepts or high-end London venues is highly desirable
WHAT WE OFFER
Salary: £53,000 per annum
