TPS Mechanical Sales Team Leader - TPS Sheffield South (Chesterfield)Working Hours: This is a 42.5-hour contract, working Monday to Friday on eight-hour shifts between 8am and 6pm, plus alternate Saturdays from 8am to 1pm.We’re looking for a Mechanical Sales Team Leader to lead, coach and motivate our TPS Parts Sales team. You’ll help the team achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring our customers receive expert advice, reliable support and exceptional service.As a Mechanical Sales Team Leader, your day-to-day will include:Leading by example, achieving your own sales targets while supporting the team to deliver theirs.Turning centre sales objectives into clear, achievable team and individual targets, monitoring performance and taking action where needed.Coaching colleagues through regular one-to-ones and call reviews, helping them build product knowledge, handle objections and develop their sales skills.Creating a positive, motivated team environment that recognises success and encourages continuous improvement.Working with the Centre Manager and TPS Investor Sales Manager to deliver promotions, campaigns and customer development activity. Building strong customer relationships through regular contact, coordinating customer visits and resolving queries or complaints promptly and professionally.

Working closely with the warehouse and centre management teams to maintain service levels and ensure returns, credits and parts sourcing are handled efficiently. Ensuring customer records, sales documentation and business systems are accurate, with credit limits and company procedures followed consistently.What we're looking for in a Mechanical Sales Team Leader:Proven experience managing and motivating a team to achieve sales targets.A background in sales team management or B2B call centre management.A coaching approach, with the ability to give clear feedback and help others develop.A passion for customer service and building lasting relationships.Strong communication skills and the confidence to work effectively with colleagues and customers.A good level of IT literacy and confidence using systems to monitor performance and manage sales activity.A professional approach, commercial awareness and a commitment to doing things with integrity.What we offerAt JCT600, we believe in rewarding and supporting our colleagues.
