HSQE Advisor Location: Remote / Site Based - UK Travel.SummarySpecialist Civil Engineering Contractor who operate on Heavy Civils & Major Tunnelling projects across the UK is seeking an HSQE Advisor to enhance Health and Safety practices across various civil engineering and construction projects.As a HSQE Advisor you will ill ensure compliance, deliver insightful toolbox talks and pre-start briefings, and be the beacon of Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality advice This is a remote site based hands-on role with travel to various sites around the UK and is designed for a proactive leader who can balance business needs with client requirements while keeping an unwavering focus on HSQE compliance.Key Accountabilities:-    Aiding the project management teams in upholding the highest Health, Safety & Environmental standards across all projects.-    Executing meticulous inspections with a focus on HSQE compliance, company and client management systems and industry best practices.-    Ensuring safe maintenance and risk management of plant and materials across projects -    Building strong bonds with the workforce, nurturing a culture of safety and consistency through the group\'s LIFE behaviour program.-    Displaying team spirit by supporting operations planning and delivery.-    Managing contractors and ensuring steadfast adherence to HSEQ standards.-    Conducting equipment inspections, as required.-    Delivering accredited and bespoke training programs.-    Leading incident investigations.-    Actively producing and disseminating educational material.Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications-    Minimum of a NEBOSH Construction Certificate-    Work experience in Construction, Civil Engineering-    Valid CSCS card aligned to Job Role-    Proficiency in Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis-    Outstanding IT skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email-    Proven ability to foster robust, working relationships-    Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines-    Full UK driving license-    Full right to work in the UKDesirable:-    Experience and up-to-date knowledge of RC Frameworks and Ground Works-    TEEPs and TSTS-    IEMA Environmental Qualification-    Temporary Works Coordinator-    Fire Risk Assessor-    CoSHH Assessor-    Experience with lifting equipment i.e. Cranes-    Knowledge of Behavioural SafetySalary: Between 50,000 - 60,000 dependant on level of experience plus:-    Car / car allowance -    25 days holidays plus bank holidays-    Pension-    Health and wellbeing care. -    Accommodation and Travel costsGet in touch for more details and to applyNavartis Ltd is a specialist recruitment company supplying highly skilled technical and management professionals within the global Transportation, Civil Engineering & Utility industries, if you are seeking a new position our recruitment team can locate the opportunity to suit your needsDiscipline(s): Civil Engineering, Infrastructure & Built EnvironmentJob type: Permanent
