3+ PQE | Fully Remote | Legal 500 Firm | Specialist Property Litigation
We’re currently working with a highly regarded Legal 500 firm that is looking to grow its specialist Property Litigation team with experienced Associates, Senior Associates and Principal Associates.
This is a fully remote opportunity, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK while joining an established and growing specialist property litigation team.
The role is open to solicitors with 3+ years’ PQE, with the level of responsibility tailored to your experience and seniority.
The Role
The team has a particularly strong reputation for residential leasehold and landlord & tenant litigation, acting for landlords and managing agents across both high-volume portfolios and complex, high-value disputes.
You’ll manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters, with responsibilities including:
- Residential leasehold and landlord & tenant disputes
- Service charge disputes and lease interpretation
- Breaches of covenant and forfeiture proceedings
- Property management-related disputes and advice
- First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) matters
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and legal advice
- Advising clients on complex property disputes
- Supporting on higher-value and technically complex matters
- Developing advocacy experience and taking responsibility for hearings
- Supervising and supporting junior members of the team where appropriate
What We’re Looking For
We’re open to 3+ PQE solicitors upwards, including candidates currently operating at Associate, Senior Associate or Principal Associate level.
The key requirement is strong hands-on experience in property litigation, particularly:
- Residential leasehold disputes
- Landlord & tenant litigation
- Service charge disputes
- Lease interpretation
- Property management-related litigation
- First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) work
Experience with the following would also be advantageous:
- Building Safety Act matters
- Remediation Orders and Remediation Contribution Orders
- Leasehold and Freehold Reform Act 2024
- Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002
Why Consider It?
This is a great opportunity to join a Legal 500 recognised firm and become part of a genuinely specialist Property Litigation team.
You’ll work on technically interesting matters, have exposure to quality clients and benefit from a clear pathway to increased responsibility and technical development.
The fully remote setup makes this particularly attractive for experienced property litigators looking for greater flexibility without compromising on the quality of work or career progression. xwzovoh
If you’re a Property Litigation solicitor with 3+ PQE, particularly with a background in residential leasehold and landlord & tenant disputes, this could be a strong next move.
