Furniture Upholsterer

Jobstore are currently looking for an experienced furniture upholsterer for one of our prestigious clients working Monday - Friday in Preston.

The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
You will be required to upholster and prepare furniture in-line with customer and product specifications, ensuring the furniture is finished to high standards and manufactured ready for the following stage of manufacture and/or packing. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Upholster furniture to customer and product/design specification
Carry out quality control checks upon your own work
Work well individually or as part of a team
Follow instructions and workload issued by the manager
You may be required to work in alternative areas of the factory as demand fluctuates
Report any damages or scrap
Carry out Stock Control Checks as and when required
Keep a clean, tidy and organised work environment at all times
Keep tools and equipment in good working order
