Job Description Job Description: /n Renewables Manager – Job Specification /n Role Overview /n Solar PV, ASHP, BATTERY /n The Renewables Manager will oversee the delivery of renewable energy installations across multiple sites across Hampshire, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards. This role combines hands-on site management with strategic project oversight, coordinating teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality renewable solutions. /n The company will fully fund all required site-management tickets and certifications, supporting the successful candidate’s professional development. /n Key Responsibilities Project Management /n /n - Lead end-to-end project delivery for renewable installations (solar, battery storage, ASHP infrastructure, or other technologies depending on company focus). /n - Develop project plans, timelines, and resource schedules. /n - Manage budgets, procurement, and supplier relationships. /n - Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions. /n - Ensure all installations meet regulatory, technical, and quality standards. /n /n Site Management /n /n - Oversee daily operations across active installation sites. /n - Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and technical staff. /n - Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings. /n - Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and company policies. /n - Maintain accurate site documentation, reports, and progress updates. /n /n Technical & Operational Oversight /n /n - Review installation designs and technical specifications. /n - Support troubleshooting, commissioning, and handover processes. /n - Ensure installations meet performance expectations and client requirements. /n /n Stakeholder & Client Engagement /n /n - Act as the main point of contact for clients during project delivery. /n - Provide clear communication on timelines, progress, and technical matters. /n - Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies. /n /n Required Skills & Experience /n /n - Experience in renewable energy installations, construction management, or related technical fields. /n - Strong project management capability, ideally with experience running multiple concurrent sites. /n - Knowledge of health & safety regulations and construction site protocols. /n - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation plans. /n - Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. /n - Full UK driving licence. /n /n Desirable (Not Essential) /n /n - Prior experience managing solar PV, battery storage or EV charging projects. /n - Existing site-management certifications (SMSTS, SSSTS, First Aid, etc.) — but these will be fully funded if not already held. /n - Experience working with subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams. /n /n What We Offer /n /n - Fully funded site-management tickets (SMSTS/SSSTS, First Aid, H&S qualifications). /n - Competitive salary and performance-based incentives. /n - Company vehicle or travel allowance. /n - Training and development pathways within the renewable energy sector. /n - Opportunity to lead impactful projects contributing to the UK’s net-zero goals. /n /n Work Location: In person
