About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team at our Head Office in Cookstown.
A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.
This role will include budget preparation, financial performance monitoring and interaction with departmental heads across all depots.
What you will do: Monthly management accounts Year-end accounts for auditors Internal recharges, accruals, prepayments and general accruals Fixed asset register maintenance Hire purchase Bank reconciliations Preparation and payments to HMRC (VAT both UK and ROI returns, etc) Completing monthly/quarterly/annual surveys TSS declarations EC Sales and Intrastat Maintenance and improvement of systems Any other duties that are required to support the business What you will need: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines Excellent IT skills, including financial software and Microsoft Office Strong verbal and written communication skills Good knowledge of financial tools and processes Full driving licence Experience using Sage 200 Accounts is desirable KDM Hire is a professional and dynamic business which has grown to become one of the UK and Ireland's leading equipment rental companies.
