You will work closely with colleagues across the Corporation, contributing to enterprise‑wide risk processes, reporting, and governance, while supporting a strong and proactive risk culture.Key ResponsibilitiesRisk Strategy & CultureSupport the delivery and ongoing monitoring of Lloyd’s annual risk management and coordinated assurance plansContribute to strengthening and embedding an effective risk culture across the organisationProvide agile support on ad‑hoc projects and requests from the Head of Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Risk ManagerRisk Framework, Processes & SystemsSupport the development and operation of Lloyd’s global risk framework, including:Risk and Control Self‑Assessments (RCSAs)Key and Material ControlsEmerging risk identification and reportingRisk culture, awareness, and engagement activitiesContribute to the risk appetite framework, including regular reporting to senior managementSupport the annual ORSA processHelp develop and maintain risk management systems and reporting toolsProduce timely, accurate, and insightful risk management reports using risk systems and dataReporting & GovernanceProduce high‑quality routine and ad‑hoc reporting for Lloyd’s risk committeesPrepare materials for internal stakeholders (e.g. risk digests), external stakeholders (including rating agencies), and regulatorsBuild and maintain strong, collaborative relationships across Corporation departmentsSkills, Knowledge & ExperienceSkillsStrong understanding of enterprise risk management practices and frameworksExcellent analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex risk topics clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiencesConfident stakeholder management skills, including the ability to challenge constructively and influence outcomesStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressureResilient and comfortable operating under scrutinyKnowledgeSolid knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks and processesGood understanding of the insurance industry and the Lloyd’s marketExperienceExperience working within a high‑performing risk, audit, or control environmentProven experience engaging with and managing senior stakeholders, including challenging situationsHands‑on experience with risk frameworks, tools, and reporting processesWhy Join Lloyd’s?At Lloyd’s, our values shape how we work every day:Take the risk – make smart, calculated decisions that move us forwardMake it happen – act with energy, urgency, and a solutions‑focused mindsetOwn the outcome – take responsibility and deliver high‑quality results, end‑to‑endBeing inclusive at Lloyd’s is integral to how we work — and how we deliver impact.We aim to build a diverse, inclusive environment that reflects the global markets we serve, where everyone is treated with dignity and respect and supported to reach their full potential.We take the risk by challenging traditional thinking and being proactive about inclusion.
