Job Reference: nnltd03976Date Posted: 29 May 2019Recruiter: Nanotek LtdLocation: Milton Keynes, BuckinghamshireSalary: 20,000 to 30,000Sector: Engineering, I.T.Job Type: PermanentWork Hours: Full TimeContact: Jim WalshEmail: careers@nanotekltd.co.ukApply for this job nowJob DescriptionOur client is an expanding developer of Software Solutions for the Banking and Investment Industry.Increased growth has led to the opening of a new role for a QA Test Engineer (Javascript) to join their Milton Keynes based operation:Duties:* Delivery of high quality software in line with business needs and customer timescales * Identifying requirements for testing * Preparation and execution of test cases such as functional tests, customer scenario tests and performance tests * Writing automated and manual test cases * Recording and monitoring issues to resolution * Identifying areas for improvement and propose solutions * Support for existing customers and product installations * Handling reported customer problems and contributing to their resolution.Candidate Criteria:Essential * Graduate level education * Strong analytical skills * Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines * Good written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail * Previous testing and/or finance experience * A structured approach to work with the ability to handle and co-ordinate multiple activitiesDesirable * Experience using a JavaScript framework such as Sencha Ext-JS * Business domain knowledge of finance, securities finance, stock borrowing and lending or collateral management * Experience of other Securities Lending software such as Apex, 4Sight or Global One
