This leading research intensive university is looking for a Linux Engineer to continue the maintenance and development of their 12,000+ core HPC computing infrastructure.
Undergoing annual expansion while covering a full life-cycle of research, you will take a DevOps approach to manage 5PTB storage, 300 compute nodes and 60-70 GPU’s.
Through supporting their infrastructure you will be utilising your Linux skills alongside Bash and Python to deploy everything. Your knowledge of configuration management and deployment tools will also contribute to the automation changes to live servers as well. This role provides exposure and experience that is seldom seen within the public research sector, and they are looking for someone who is eager to learn and keen to bring ideas to the table.
