I am working with a well-established accountancy practice in the Bristol - Paulton area to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. This role offers exposure to a varied client portfolio and clear progression within practice.

The Role

• Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Assisting with management accounts preparation
• Preparation of corporation tax computations and personal tax returns
• Supporting senior team members with year-end work and client queries
• Liaising directly with clients under supervision
• Working with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks and Sage

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice (essential)
• Studying towards AAT / ACA / ACCA (or equivalent), or qualified by experience
• Experience preparing accounts to trial balance level
• Some exposure to corporation tax and personal tax
• Good working knowledge of accounting systems
• Strong attention to detail and good time management skills
