Class 2 Driver - Steel Lintel Deliveries Start Date: 24/03/2026 📍 Swadlincote AreaPure Staff Birmingham are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (Cat C) drivers to support one of our well-established customers in the Swadlincote area. This is an ongoing role with a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.This role involves delivering steel lintels and other steel products to builders merchants and trade customers, including long-distance deliveries, so previous experience with steel loads and strapping is essential.🔧 The Role:Delivering steel lintels and steel productsDeliveries to builders merchants and trade sitesLong-distance and regional deliveriesCompleting 3-8 drops per dayStart times between 3:00am - 6:00amLong working hours expectedVehicles are pre-loaded and ready to goNo handball involved - offloading handled on-siteStrapping and securing steel loads safely (essential)Ensuring load safety and compliance at all times✅ Requirements:Valid UK Category C (Class 2) licenceIn-date CPC and Digi cardMinimum 2 years holding a Class 2 licenceMust be aged 21+ for insurance purposesPrevious steel delivery experience (including lintels preferred)Proven experience strapping and securing steel loadsNo more than 6 points on your licenceReliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work💷 Pay Rates:£15.00 per hour£1.81 per hour holiday pay accrued 👉 Total equivalent: £16.81 per hourHoliday pay is banked and paid when you take annual leave.🕒 Shifts:Monday to FridayNo weekends📩 Apply today if you're an experienced Class 2 driver with steel / lintel delivery experience, hold your licence for 2+ years, are 21+, and are ready to start on 24th March 2026 in Swadlincote.INDBD
