Electrical Improver

We are currently looking for experienced Electrical Improvers to join our team on a manufacturing facility project in Widnes. Working alongside qualified electricians, you will assist with industrial electrical installation works within a busy production environment. This role is ideal for candidates with previous industrial installation experience who are confident installing containment systems and assisting with SWA cable installations. Key Responsibilities * Assisting electricians with industrial electrical installations * Installing containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable ladder * Assisting with the installation, glanding, and termination of SWA cables * Pulling, routing, and dressing power and control cables * Installing electrical accessories and supporting equipment * Working from electrical drawings and site instructions * Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site housekeeping * Following all health and safety procedures while working within a live manufacturing environment Requirements * Valid ECS Card and IPAF (essential) * Previous experience as an Electrical Improver * Industrial or manufacturing installation experience * Experience installing electrical containment systems * Familiarity with SWA cable installation * Ability to work effectively as part of a team * Good understanding of health and safety requirements on industrial sites Desirable Experience * Previous work within manufacturing or process facilities * Ability to read and understand electrical drawings Working Hours * Monday to Friday * 40 hours per week * Overtime opportunities may be available depending on project requirements About the Role This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional industrial installation team on a well-established manufacturing site in Widnes.
