ECTs Welcome
An ambitious and inclusive school in West London is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Geography to join its successful Humanities faculty from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner to inspire young people with a passion for Geography and develop their understanding of the world around them. The successful candidate will join a school with a strong culture of achievement, respect, equality and service, where staff are committed to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
The Geography curriculum is enquiry-led and designed to develop students' sense of place, understanding of global issues and appreciation of diverse cultures. Students are encouraged to think critically about the world through exploration, fieldwork and the study of contemporary geographical challenges including climate change, migration and globalisation.
The successful Teacher of Geography will:
* Be passionate about Geography and committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
* Have the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
* Be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for young people.
* Be willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
* Have strong subject knowledge and a desire to continually develop their practice.
* Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve it for ECT applicants).
In return, the school offers:
* A supportive and collaborative Humanities department.
* Excellent professional development and career progression opportunities.
* A strong commitment to staff wellbeing.
* Enthusiastic and respectful students who are eager to learn.
* Outstanding facilities and resources across an all-through setting.
* A welcoming and diverse community underpinned by strong values and high expectations.
This position would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to begin their career in a supportive environment with a strong focus on professional growth.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All appointments are subject to satisfactory enhanced DBS and pre-employment checks
