About the role
Bridge education is seeking a reliable and proactive School Cleaner to join a well-maintained school site in Tarleton supporting the day-to-day running of the premises.
This is a part-time, long-term position, responsible for ensuring the school environment is safe, secure and well-presented for pupils, staff and visitors.
The school takes pride in maintaining high site standards, with a strong focus on health and safety, security and compliance, making it an excellent opportunity for a cleaner or looking for a stable role in a school setting.
School Caretaker benefits:

School Caretaker role requirements:
Previous experience in caretaking, facilities, maintenance or a similar role
• Basic DIY and maintenance skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage workload
• Reliable and proactive approach
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
The successful School Caretaker will:
Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs across the school site
• Ensure site security, including opening and closing the premises
• Conduct regular health and safety checks
• Maintain cleanliness of internal and external areas
• Liaise with contractors and external providers where required
• Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school site
