HGV Class 1 Shunter Nights

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry, CV8. We are looking for PM ad-hoc Shunters for Mondays and full-time Night Shunters working Monday to Friday , with additional opportunities available for experienced drivers. Assessments available ASAP!

Hours Night Shunter Drivers: Start times between 19:00 and 22:00 Monday to Friday Full-time and part-time opportunities available Part-time availability particularly welcome on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays 10-hour shifts available for part-time workers PM Shunter Drivers : Start times between 12:00 and 16:00 Ad-hoc opportunities available, including Monday shifts Pay Rates : Shunters: £19.12 (Pre Parity) / £21.15 (Post Parity) Shunter Night: £20.62 (Pre Parity) / £21.65 (Post Parity)

Location

Coventry, CV8 The Role : Shunting trailers within the yard – approximately 40–100 moves per shift Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams Maintaining high standards of safety throughout each shift

Requirements

Minimum 4 months' shunting driving experience Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E) Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only) Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical) Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude
