Downstream Process Development Scientist

Exciting opportunity to join a leading bio-pharmaceutical organization and play a key role in the development of novel therapeutics!

Using your experience in antibody/protein purification, you will contribute to the development of downstream processes and support drug substance manufacture across various stages of drug development from pre-clinical projects through to Phase III studies. You will also assist in the development and introduction of new methods as well as troubleshooting issues with purification processes

The ideal candidate will possess:

• BSc or MSc in a Biological Science (or equivalent)
• Industrial laboratory experience in protein or plasmid vector purification using AKTA systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities

An understanding of downstream processing, technology transfer, AMBR 250 bioreactors and other techniques such as filtration would be very beneficial.
