We are leading a confidential search for a Commercial Operations Director to join a well established, family-run, fast-moving, product-led business in the North West.

This is a senior leadership appointment working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to strengthen the commercial and operational capability of the business across a complex, multi-route-to-market environment.

We are looking for a commercially minded operational leader with experience in clothing, accessories, fashion, apparel or closely related consumer products.

The strongest candidates are likely to have operated in businesses with:

• Private label, own-brand or product development-led products
• Multi-channel routes to market
• Multi-site or multi-location operations
• B2B and D2C channels
• Wholesale, retail and e-commerce exposure
• Stock flow, fulfilment, sourcing and supplier management
• Fast-moving seasonal product cycles
• SME, family-run, founder-led or entrepreneurial environments

This is not a narrow operations role. It requires someone who can connect sales, product, stock, sourcing, suppliers, fulfilment, customer delivery, people, systems and performance into one joined-up operating model.

The successful candidate will need to bring operational grip, commercial judgement and the ability to improve structure, accountability and execution without slowing down the pace ofthe business.

Salary range: £100,000–£140,000 (DOE) base salary + package
