Private Client Solicitor / Senior Associate – Brentwood – Up to £80,000 + Bonus + Benefits

A highly regarded Legal 500 Essex firm is seeking a Private Client Senior Associate Solicitor in Brentwood to join its growing team.

You’ll handle high-quality work across wills, probate, trusts, estate planning and LPAs within a collaborative, well-established team of around 20 lawyers, in a supportive environment with clear progression.

This opportunity will suit local solicitors seeking a genuine step forward, as well as City lawyers looking to reduce their commute and achieve a better work-life balance without compromising on quality of work.

The Role

• Varied caseload of private client including wills, probate, trusts and estate planning
• Advising on LPAs and supporting Court of Protection related matters
• Acting for executors and trustees on complex estate administration
• Delivering high levels of client care in line with the firm’s strong reputation
• Working closely with partners on complex and high-value matters
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within a large, established team
• Contributing to business development, networking and marketing activity
• Supporting the continued growth of a top-tier Essex private client practice

The Candidate

• 8+ PQE Private Client Solicitor or equivalent experience
• Strong experience across probate, estate administration, trusts and tax matters
• Confident running a full caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Experience or interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
