These roles suit engineers who value precision, cleanliness and quality of finish, and who enjoy working with integrated mechanical systems rather than rough or repetitive production work. Key Responsibilities * Mechanical installation and assembly of complex systems * Working with power transmission, gearing and driveline components * Installation of hydraulic and fluid systems * Precision fitting to engineering drawings and specifications * Working to defined quality, safety and production standards * Maintaining clean, organised and professional work areas About You * Level 2 or higher engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, apprenticeship or equivalent) * Strong mechanical engineering background * Experience in one or more of the following sectors: * Aerospace or aviation maintenance * Rail or rolling stock engineering * Defence or high-integrity manufacturing * Heavy vehicle, diesel or plant engineering * Marine or complex mechanical environments * High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Direct sector experience is less important than engineering quality and systems knowledge.
