A highly regarded Ayrshire firm is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join a busy and growing practice. This is a substantive role with real scope -you'll manage a varied, quality caseload and play an active part in shaping how the team develops.

The role

You’ll carry a varied private client caseload spanning wills, powers of attorney, executries, trusts and estate planning matters. At this level, you’ll work with considerable autonomy - managing your own files, building direct client relationships and providing clear, practical advice on often complex and sensitive matters.

There’s also scope to support and mentor more junior colleagues and to contribute to the broader direction of the private client team.

About you

This role would suit a Private Client Solicitor who:

• Has 3–9 years’ PQE in private client law
• Is confident managing a caseload independently
• Builds strong, lasting relationships with clients
• Communicates clearly and with sensitivity
• Is looking to take the next step - whether that’s greater responsibility, a more interesting caseload, or a better working environment
• Is organised, commercially aware and ready to hit the ground running
