Freelance Fashion Designer | Essential - Experience in Traditional British Country & Shooting Wear Contract Type: Freelance (2–3days per week initially) Nadja Swarovski, Creative Director Really Wild is a British luxury heritage fashion brand that combines timeless elegance with exceptional craftsmanship. Inspired by both country pursuits and contemporary city living, the brand creates beautifully made collections that empower women through style, quality and confidence. We are seeking a talented Freelance Fashion Designer to support the development of our collections and work closely with our Creative Director, Design Team and Production Team. This is a hands-on design role focused on transforming creative concepts into fully developed products. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in sketching, CAD design, technical drawings and product development, with experience working within premium or luxury fashion brands. The role is ideal for a designer who enjoys creating beautiful products while maintaining strong attention to detail, fit, construction and commercial viability. The Freelance Fashion Designer will report directly to Nadja Swarovski, Creative Director. Design Team Production Team Design Development Translate creative direction into commercially viable designs. Produce hand sketches and digital fashion illustrations. Support collection development from concept through production. CAD & Technical Design Create detailed CAD drawings for all products. Ensure all technical information is complete and production-ready. Work closely with the Production Team to ensure smooth product development. Recommend suitable materials aligned with the brand’s quality standards. Support sustainability and quality objectives where possible. Work with the production team who liaise with manufacturers regarding technical queries. Ensure all design specifications are clearly communicated. 5+ years’ experience within premium or luxury fashion brands. ~ Excellent sketching and CAD capabilities. ~ Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes. ~ Experience working directly with factories and suppliers. Adobe Photoshop Microsoft Office Range building and product development Strong aesthetic sensibility. Passionate about luxury fashion, craftsmanship and British heritage. Contract Details Freelance consultancy arrangement. Combination of remote work, London meetings and occasional visits to Theale. Competitive day rate based on experience. High-quality CADs and technical packs delivered on time. Smooth transition from design concept to production. Strong collaboration with design and production teams.
