About you

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and standards
• Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and controls
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Effective communicator capable of explaining complex financial information

What you'll do

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring data integrity and completeness
• Support month-end and period-close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist in external audits by providing documentation and responding to queries
• Manage statutory filings, including VAT and other regulatory submissions
• Support cash flow forecasting and monitor liquidity needs
• Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure proper capitalization and depreciation
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen financial controls
• Perform variance analysis and deliver insightful reports to support business decisions
