About you
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and standards
- Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and controls
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Effective communicator capable of explaining complex financial information
What you'll do
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant standards and regulations
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring data integrity and completeness
- Support month-end and period-close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Assist in external audits by providing documentation and responding to queries
- Manage statutory filings, including VAT and other regulatory submissions
- Support cash flow forecasting and monitor liquidity needs
- Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure proper capitalization and depreciation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and strengthen financial controls
- Perform variance analysis and deliver insightful reports to support business decisions
