Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the reinstatement process for telecommunications infrastructure projects, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and local authorities to ensure that all reinstatement work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct site visits to assess reinstatement requirements and provide guidance to contractors.
- Ensure that all reinstatement work meets regulatory and quality standards.
- Prepare and submit reinstatement reports to project managers and local authorities.
- Monitor and manage budgets for reinstatement work.
- Maintain accurate records of all reinstatement activities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations related to reinstatement work
- Has the responsibility of ensuring sites are compliant and safe
- Ensures all work is carried out to specification e.g., LN550, HSG47, HAUC etc and the NRSWA
- Working as part of the team to ensure safe collection and delivery of all materials required for the job.
- Work in accordance with the Highway code when using company vehicles or working on public property.
- Working on general drain-works operations.
- Laying Tarmac/HRA.
- Ensure worksites are left tidy with all materials being removed from site and returned to suitable skips within the depot.
- Carries out and disseminates findings of Site-Specific Risk Assessments
- Responsible for the accurate measurement of completed jobs, and timely submission
- Ensures that all Time sheets and Measure sheets are populated and submitted daily
- To be part of the standby out of hour working rota.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the telecommunications industry as Reinstatement Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of reinstatement processes and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
