About the role Start date/End date: September 2026/ ongoing Days/hours: Mon – Fri 8:30am – 3:30pm Location: Barry Pay: £172.98 a day We are recruiting on behalf of a lovely primary school in The Vale for a newly qualified teacher who is wanting to make an impact! Preferably you will have experience in working or completed placements with Key Stage 2 (KS2). As a class teacher you will be responsible for delivering core curriculum to no more than 30 students, ensuring lessons are informative and engaging. The role is more than a teacher, it is creating a positive and safe environment for children to learn and develop in. There are no 1:1 pupils in the class so no ALN experience is necessary, but it always goes a long way. About the school This lively primary school is in the heart of the vale of Glamorgan which was last rated by Estyn as ‘Good’. They welcome approximately 210 students which includes a nursery, so there is a place for everyone which is affirmed by the school’s main mission; to create a safe, secure and happy learning environment in the heart of the local community.  It is vital that all pupils are encouraged to achieve their potential through a challenging, exciting and inclusive curriculum, enabling them to acquire skills for lifelong learning.
