Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire
Pay: £13.94 - £16.83 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (with the potential to change to 9:00am - 5:00pm)

The Role

We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join a busy production facility in Bicester. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is organised, proactive and confident working independently. The role will initially involve lone working, so you'll need to be self-motivated and capable of managing your workload while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the day-to-day running of the production area.

* Carry out general production and warehouse duties.

* Load and unload deliveries and containers.

* Operate an Electric Pallet Truck (EPT).

* Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck where required (desirable).

* Ensure products are handled safely and efficiently.

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.

* Complete production paperwork and basic stock records where required.

* Open and secure the premises as a key holder.

* Work independently and use initiative to ensure daily tasks are completed.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience within a production, warehouse or manufacturing environment.

* Experience in a supervisory or senior operative position.

* The ability to work independently and confidently during periods of lone working.

* A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.

* Good organisational and problem-solving skills.

* Experience operating an Electric Pallet Truck.

* A Counterbalance Forklift licence or previous experience (advantageous).

* A good understanding of health and safety within a production environment.
