Pathway Careers is working with a well established Belfast City Centre law firm who are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Secretary to provide dedicated one-to-one support to a Partner within the firm.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal secretary with a strong background in residential conveyancing who enjoys working closely with a senior fee earner in a busy and professional environment.

 

Hybrid working may be considered for the right candidate, however, applicants must have significant residential conveyancing experience and be confident working independently.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Providing dedicated one-to-one secretarial support to a Partner Managing a busy residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion Preparing and formatting legal correspondence and documentation Opening and maintaining client files Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other relevant parties Preparing contracts, searches and completion documentation Managing diaries, appointments and deadlines Handling incoming calls and correspondence Ensuring files are kept fully updated and progressing within required timescales Providing general administrative and secretarial support to the Partner as required Essential Skills

 

Significant previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within a residential conveyancing department Strong knowledge of the residential conveyancing process Excellent organisational and time management skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and client care skills Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise a busy workload Confident working independently with minimal supervision Professional and approachable manner What’s on Offer
