Job details Domestic Assistant Bank hours The home Situated in the quiet, close knit village of Elworth, Sandbach in Cheshire, St Stephens is a purpose built 40 bedded care home which provides specialist residential and nursing care to older people and people living with dementia. Key Responsibilities: Clean residents' rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, offices, and other designated areas. Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, and sanitize surfaces according to cleaning schedules. Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely. Replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and hygiene products as required. Follow infection prevention and control procedures. Report maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment to management. Assist with laundry duties when required, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents' clothing and linen. Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored safely. Maintain accurate cleaning records where required. Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and personal belongings at all times.
