We’re supporting an innovative defence technology business developing next-generation uncrewed and autonomous systems across air, land and maritime domains.
They’re looking for an experienced Agile Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary technology programmes spanning hardware, software and integrated engineering systems, taking products from early-stage concept and development through to deployment. This is a hands-on delivery role within a fast-paced, innovation-led environment, bringing together cross-functional engineering teams to develop and deploy new technology at pace.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading Agile delivery across complex hardware and software engineering programmes
- Aligning multidisciplinary engineering teams around priorities, milestones and outcomes
- Managing dependencies, risks, blockers and competing priorities
- Driving rapid product development within an evolving and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Supporting products from early concept and R&D through development, manufacturing readiness and operational deployment
- Creating structure and visibility without introducing unnecessary process
- Working closely with engineering, product and senior stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum
Must-have experience
We’re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate all three of the following:
1. Complex technology delivery
Experience delivering complex hardware, software and integrated technology products from early concept through to deployment, ideally including manufacturing readiness.
2. Agile delivery in ambiguous environments
Experience applying Agile ways of working within fast-moving, ambiguous environments, aligning cross-functional engineering teams and driving rapid product development.
3. Aerospace or defence technology
Domain experience within aerospace or defence technology or autonomous systems, working on aerospace products, military technology or other complex autonomy solutions. Experience within R&D, prototyping, new product development, robotics, autonomy or high-growth technology environments would be particularly relevant.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity, aligning highly technical teams and helping turn ambitious engineering concepts into deployable products. xwzovoh
