Senior Contracts Manager – Structural Steelwork Industry: Structural Steel / Construction / Engineering A leading Tier 2 structural engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to oversee structural steel projects across the UK. This is a senior level role, ideal for someone confident managing multiple steelwork packages (500+ tonnes) and delivering projects from design through to installation. Role Overview * Manage the full project lifecycle: planning, design coordination, fabrication, installation and commercial delivery * Oversee multiple steelwork projects simultaneously * Monitor programmes, ensuring deadlines, quality and commercial targets are met * Lead client, subcontractor and internal team communication * Provide strong commercial and contractual oversight * Remote‑based with 1 office day per week plus site and client visits as required Requirements * Proven experience delivering 500+ tonne structural steel projects * Strong IT skills (Word, Excel) * Excellent written and verbal communication * Solid working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts * Ability to work independently and manage multiple live projects Desirable Qualifications * Degree in Construction Management (or equivalent) * IOSH * CSCS Black Managers Card * Appointed Person (AP)
