Key Benefits of the Senior Hire Controller: £35,000–£40,000 per annum Two bonus payments per year 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays Private healthcare scheme Life assurance Death in service benefit Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm Friendly and supportive working environment About the Role – Key Responsibilities: As Senior Hire Controller, you will take a lead role within the hire desk, overseeing two coordinators and ensuring customers receive an efficient, professional service. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and supporting two hire coordinators Handling customer enquiries by telephone and email Processing hire orders accurately and efficiently Coordinating equipment availability and customer requirements Resolving customer queries and hire-related issues Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the hire desk Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams Ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained About You – Senior Hire Controller You will ideally have experience within the plant, lifting equipment or machinery hire sector and be confident managing customer enquiries, orders and issues. Relevant backgrounds could include hire control, hire desk operations, rental management, branch support or hire coordination. You should be organised, commercially aware and comfortable taking responsibility while supporting colleagues.
