An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Finance Solicitor to join the highly regarded corporate team of a successful national law firm in Cheltenham.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced corporate lawyers on a high-quality and varied caseload, acting for an impressive portfolio of clients across a broad range of sectors.

The Role

You will join an established and growing team, advising clients on a broad range of corporate finance and transactional matters.

Your work is likely to include:

Acquisition and disposal finance

Corporate lending and secured lending transactions

Acquisition finance

MBOs and MBIs

Refinancing and restructuring transactions

Security and guarantee arrangements

Investment and shareholder funding

Advising lenders, borrowers and corporate clients

Supporting wider corporate transactions and complex commercial matters

You will have significant client contact and the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the firm's wider corporate, banking and commercial teams.

About You

The successful candidate is likely to be a Corporate Finance Solicitor with solid post-qualification experience, although applications from lawyers with strong relevant transactional experience will be considered.

You will ideally have:

Strong experience in corporate finance/banking transactions

Excellent technical and drafting skills

Experience managing transactions from instruction through to completion

Strong commercial awareness

Excellent client-care and communication skills

The ability to work collaboratively within a national team

A proactive and solutions-focused approach

The ambition to develop your career within a leading national practice

You will be commercially astute, technically strong and confident dealing directly with clients.
