Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Echelon Engineers are partnering up with a well established manufacturer of process plant and capital equipment is looking to add a Project Engineer to its growing team. This is a hands on, technically focused role suited to an engineer who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to delivery. You will play a key part in the successful execution of engineering projects, working closely with design, manufacturing and production teams to ensure work is delivered to specification, on time and to a high technical standard. Key responsibilities * Support the delivery of engineering projects from a technical standpoint * Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications * Liaise with manufacturing and production teams throughout the build process * Ensure projects meet technical, quality and timescale requirements * Contribute engineering knowledge and problem solving across live projects What we are looking for * A few years' experience in a project or design engineering role (up to around five years) * Manufacturing or production experience within an engineering environment * Confidence interpreting technical drawings * Relevant industry experience is an advantage, though strong transferable experience from a related engineering sector will be considered * A proactive, delivery focused approach with strong communication skills What is on offer * Competitive salary of £45,000 to £50,000 * The opportunity to work on varied, technically interesting projects * A supportive team environment with scope to develop
