Hgv Mechanic

Job Description: Location: Birmingham Pay rate: £20.51 per hour 45 hours per week (working between 6:00am – 5:00pm) HSL Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Mechanic to work for a council based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a skilled mechanic looking for long-term, stable employment within a professional working environment. Duties will include: * Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGV vehicles * Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical repairs efficiently * Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance * Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety standards * Maintaining accurate service and repair records Requirements: * Previous experience working as an HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician * Relevant mechanical qualifications preferred * Experience working on council or fleet vehicles is advantageous * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities * Ability to work independently and as part of a team What’s on offer: * £20.51 per hour * 45 hours per week * Working hours between 6:00am – 5:00pm * Temp-to-perm opportunity * Long-term, stable role * Immediate start available If you are interested in this role, please apply today or contact HSL Recruitment for more information.
