SCHOOL BUSINESS MANAGER / FINANCE LEAD - BRENT Location: Brent, North West London Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Contract: Part-Time - 3 Days per Week Start Date: ASAP About the Role SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be working in partnership with a lovely, large and high-performing primary school in Brent, seeking an experienced School Business Manager or Finance Lead to provide urgent operational and financial support on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SBM, Finance Manager or school finance professional looking for a flexible 3-day-per-week role within a warm and supportive school community. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the school's financial and operational functions while working closely with the senior leadership team. About the School Highly regarded and inclusive primary school in North West London Supportive and forward-thinking leadership team Friendly and collaborative staff culture Well-resourced school with modern facilities Strong relationships with families and the local community Easily accessible via the Jubilee Line and excellent transport links The Role Lead and support key aspects of school finance and administration Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting Oversee procurement, invoicing and financial compliance Support payroll, contracts and HR administration where required Ensure operational compliance and effective school procedures Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders on financial planning Liaise with suppliers, external agencies and the local authority Support the smooth day-to-day running of the school office and operations The Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a School Business Manager, Finance Manager, Bursar or senior school finance professional Strong knowledge of school finance systems such as FMS, SIMS, Arbor or similar Highly organised with excellent communication skills Confident managing multiple priorities and working independently Sound understanding of school compliance and operational procedures Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused Available for an immediate start Why Choose SANZA Teaching Agency?
