A leading systematic hedge fund is expanding its security team in London and New York. The firm combines technology, quantitative research, and data-driven trading strategies to build and operate highly scalable platforms across global financial markets.

As a Security Engineer, you'll

• Oversee detection and response capabilities across infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Design and implement security controls across applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms.
• Support authentication, authorisation, and internal certificate authority architecture.
• Define and enforce security standards, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to embed security best practices.
• Contribute to long-term security architecture and scalability decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in security engineering, infrastructure security, or cloud security.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorisation, PKI, and identity management.
• Familiarity with security monitoring, detection engineering, and incident response.
• Strong networking, systems, and infrastructure knowledge.
• Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments.
