Special Needs Learning Support Assistant

Were currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant role within Further Education.

37 hours per week | 37 weeks per year | £26,592.45 FTE (actual salary £22,460.39)

What you will do:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to learners across a range of curriculum areas
• Help students develop their reading, writing and maths skills
• Support learners during examinations
• Maintain accurate records of support provided
• Work with students with a variety of additional needs, including dyslexia, autism and physical or sensory needs

We're looking for candidates with:

• English and Maths Level 2
• Strong communication and IT skills
• Understanding of Additional Learning Support (ALS)
• An LSA qualification, or willingness to work towards one
