SEND Teaching Assistant – PMLD & Complex Needs
Location: Mansfield/ChesterfieldSalary: £92/63–£100 per day, paid weekly via PAYEContract: Full-time, long-termStart date: Immediate

We’re working with a specialist school supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex medical and physical needs. They’re looking for a compassionate, resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time.
This is a hands-on role where your support genuinely changes lives. No two days are the same, but every day comes with purpose, progress, and plenty of heart.
What your days will look like
- Supporting pupils with complex learning, physical, and medical needs
- Assisting with personal care, mobility, and feeding routines
- Using specialist equipment and communication tools, with full training provided
- Creating a calm, safe, and sensory-rich environment where pupils can thrive
What we’re looking for
- A calm, caring, and adaptable approach
- Resilience and a willingness to get stuck in and learn new skills
- Experience in SEND, care, or relevant lived or personal experience
- A big heart and a team-first mindset, kindness really matters here
