SENIOR / RICS RESIDENTIAL SURVEYOR & VALUER Job Title: Senior Residential Surveyor and Valuer Location: Hertford, SG14 1DX (Hybrid) Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 depending on experience, plus £3,500 car allowance and fuel card A contract arrangement will also be considered for the right person A well established and reputable firm of Chartered Surveyors is looking for an experienced Senior Residential Surveyor and Valuer to join their team. The business is known for delivering high quality residential surveying services across London and the surrounding counties, and this role offers genuine autonomy, a strong package, and a sensible working model that does not compromise work life balance. The role is hybrid. Survey work is field based across London and surrounding counties, with report writing and administration carried out remotely. You will be based from their Hertfordshire office when required. What you will be doing Leading on Level 2 Homebuyer Reports, Level 2 Plus Valuations, and Level 3 Building Surveys across a varied residential caseload. You will also be carrying out property and reinstatement valuations, producing high quality reports, and advising clients clearly and confidently throughout. All work is delivered in line with RICS standards, and at this level you will be operating largely independently and managing your own diary and caseload. What they are looking for MRICS or FRICS qualified. Registered Valuer (VRS) status is strongly preferred, and those who are eligible and actively working toward it will be considered. You will need solid experience across Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys, a strong working knowledge of building pathology, defects, and valuation processes, and the ability to manage your workload independently to tight deadlines. Full UK driving licence required.
