Mechanical Services Project Engineer

The Opportunity We are a growing mechanical services contractor delivering industrial and commercial pipework projects across challenging environments. Due to continued expansion and succession planning, we are seeking an experienced and ambitious Mechanical Services Project Engineer to join our West Midlands team. This is a key role within a small senior team, offering genuine progression into leadership. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in fast-paced project delivery, and wants real influence over both technical and commercial outcomes. The Role You will manage mechanical pipework projects from enquiry through to completion, combining technical knowledge with project and commercial responsibility. Key responsibilities: * Manage projects from initial enquiry to final account * Prepare estimates and support tendering activity * Provide technical input and support design development * Liaise with clients, consultants, and site teams * Plan and coordinate site installation activities * Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget * Support cost control, variations, and final accounts A strong practical background in mechanical pipework installation is essential.
